Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  We had a great Easter!  We started off Friday night at Allie and Todd’s Good Friday barbecue.  The food was AMAZING.  The highlight of our evening was Carter playing in a “jumper.”  It was his first time to get in one with lots of other kids.  He LOVED it, and is still talking about the jumper.  Unfortunately, we got ZERO pictures of Carter, so you will just have to take our word for it!

Saturday morning, we woke up and decided to try to Circle C Easter Egg Hunt for the first time.  We were very pleased with the event.  There were plenty of eggs for all the children.  Here are some pictures from the Easter egg hunt:

Carter was a natural. It helped that all the eggs were pretty much hidden in plain sight.

Looking for more eggs..

After Carter had hunted eggs, we played on the playground for a while.  (lots of fun!) Carter really likes play houses.

and yes, I did feel guilty that my reaction was “OH! I have GOT to get a picture of that!” – don’t worry after I got a shot, I did help him get back on his feet.  But seriously, that was my favorite picture that we took this weekend..I can admit it.  That one is immediately being filed with pictures for a future rehearsal dinner slideshow.

This morning, we had our own Easter egg hunt in our front yard.

He's a pro at this point.

so proud of himself.

The Easter bunny was generous.

We hope everyone had a great weekend and a happy holiday.

Thanks for the shout out! I’m so glad you guys could come to the party and see my (oh I mean Todd’s) new shower curtain. Also it sounds like Carter should share some of the candy goodness with his Aunt Allie.
